Greetings all --

OCWIC only happens once every two years. So if you miss it in 2007, you'll
have to wait til 2009 for your next chance.

Register now, before you forget (and apply for a scholarship at the same
time!): http://cs.hiram.edu/OCWIC/registration.html

Here are some things that attendees at OCWIC2005 enjoyed:

*Speakers were interesting and gave valuable information and advice. *

*Career panel covered a lot of my concerns of being a woman in the industry*

*I got some questions that I could potentially use in future interviews.*

*Everything was great & very well organized*

*I liked learning about the different opportunities I have once I graduate*

*I liked the whole conference. Everything was fun. I enjoyed it*

*I really liked seeing so many females in computer science and interacting
with them. *

*Keynote [speaker's] story was very inspiring*

*Meal conversations were great *

***Not feeling a sense of competitiveness or being an imposter. *

*Positive attitudes & enthusiasticness, it made me feel better about being a
woman in technology*

*Technical talks. I prefer info sessions that give info*

*The birds of a feather sessions were really interesting. You get to know
many other people. *

What will you be talking about after OCWIC2007?

See you in February!
:-)
