Hi folks --

Every year I take one or two students with me to the annual ACM SIGCSE
conference. (SIGCSE stands for Special Interest Group on Computer Science
Education). This is a fun opportunity to see what your teachers are like
when they're not in the classroom. Plus, there are lots of interesting
sessions and activities. If you think that you might want to apply to grad
school, this is a good way to find out what kind of research is going on.

More info is here http://www.cs.potsdam.edu/sigcse07/index.shtml

In the past, I have taken Rebekah Billing, Shenia Thomas, Linda Wang, Gouri
Akundy, Rini Saha, Mary Valli, Kelli Webb and many others. I only have
funds for one more student, so I'll take whoever emails me first.

:-)
Bettina
