Assistant Systems Manager
(Systems Programmer III)
Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design

Part-time student assistant(s) are needed to aid in management of our
workstations, servers, and data network.

This is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to become systems
managers to gain valuable work experience and references prior to
graduation.

Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of
Microsoft Windows is required.

Interest in operating systems other than Windows such as Solaris, IRIX, Mac
OS X, etc. is required.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds (CRT displays and computers)

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position available to students
continuously enrolled at Ohio State University.

This is a year-round position, including finals weeks, quarter breaks, and
summer quarter.

Only candidates with a genuine interest in end-user success and a
consistently strong work ethic need apply.
