Robot Submarine Antenna/Programmable Aperture Antenna/Wireless RFID Tag Location/Golf Ball Radar/Wireless Strain Gage in Jet Engine Turbine:
4th year undergraduate student wanted who is willing to work on research in electromagnetics.  Must be very flexible-willing to do research on projects with unknown results.  Programming (MATLAB) for data analysis and data collection to be done to develop advanced antennas.  All GPA's will be considered.  Skills needed:  CAD/RF equipment operation/MATLAB (preferred). Vegetable Preferences of Asians in Franklin County:
3rd and 4th year student research volunteer wanted to assist with study of Asians in Franklin County using survey research methods employing questionnaires and Focus Group methods.  Work directly with the Principal Investigator (PI) and be mentored in the conduct of survey research and analysis.  Skills needed:
People skills for face-to-face interviewing; group meetings
Computer skills for data entry and analysis; word processing
Conscientious work ethic
OSU clearance (training completed on-line) to participate in research (RE: protection of human subjects)
Hours vary by stage of the research project, but will never exceed 20.  Project is planned for 2007, but may end before the end of the year as data might be collected earlier.  Interested students should send an email to Professor Larry E. Miller at miller.103 at osu.edu by January 29, 2007.
