Hi Everyone --

This might be a great way to identify/recruit future CSE majors
in-the-rough, and give youngsters a chance to meet a REAL computer engineer.

Please let me know if you are interested in any of these opportunities. I
have flyers for the first two that I can send you.

:-)
Bettina

 Hi Bettina:

'Tis the season...for science fair judging! During the next few months,
there will be numerous opportunities for students, staff, and faculty with
an interest in science to help judge science fairs in central Ohio. As
Project GRO receives requests for judges, they will be posted on our website
(http;//projectgro.osu.edu). Upcoming judging opportunities include:

-February 16 (Saturday): Columbus City Schools* High School Science
Fair*(at COSI) (informational flyer attached)
Contact Monica Amorose Shaner (MAmorose5398 at columbus.k12.oh.us)

-March 10 (Monday): Columbus City Schools* Elementary School Invention
Convention* (at the Aladdin Shrine Center) (informational flyer attached)
Contact: Lisa Liedtke (lprinz-liedtke at columbus.k12.oh.us)

-May 10 (Saturday):* State Science Day* (at OSU)
Contact: Lynn Elfner (oas at iwaynet.net)

Judging these events is a fun way for the OSU community to be involved with
K-12 students. I'm hoping that there are students, staff, and faculty in
your department who would be interested in this mentoring opportunity.

Happy New Year,

Chris
