I've been working with COSI to establish a new summer camp where kids can
learn how to program, using Scratch (see scratch.mit.edu). They'd like to
have some college students visit the camp in the afternoons to help the kids
with their programs, and give them an idea of what majoring in computer
science is like.
Can you help out for a couple hours one afternoon during the week of August
4-8th? Let me know.
Here's a description of the camp.
NEW! Science of Video Games | 5-Day Camp
August 4-8, 2008 (9am-4pm)
Learn programming concepts and create a new game to share with family and
friends! Includes a field trip to the computer game development lab at the
Ohio State University!
