Student Position Available

The Ohio Supercomputer Center is currently accepting resumes for an
open Student Position.  Responsibilities include opening and tracking
hardware support cases with vendors, maintaining records, performing
hardware maintenance; labeling and putting in place cables connecting
computing and storage subsystems; installing/removing equipment and
maintaining wiring maps and inventory.  Some programming and scripting
work will also be required.

The ideal student will have a technical aptitude.  Experience with
computer hardware assembly or maintenance is a definite advantage.
An understanding of Linux or Unix is desired.  A basic understanding
of programming  using scripts or a high level language is an
advantage.  The applicant should also be reliable, detail-oriented and
be able to keep good notes.

Position will pay $10/hr.
