[ACM-W] Women in Computing - Take 2

This month's issue of the Communications of the ACM spotlights the
escalating challenges of inspiring, recruiting, and retaining *Women in
Computing*. While women's representation in the computing field has improved
in some sectors, it is still far short of equal. Programs now under way
could help make computing more inclusive by improving opportunities to
encourage and to teach. This month's cover story, written by Maria Klawe,
Telle Whitney, and Caroline Simard, traces the progress made over the last
15 years in educating females about opportunities in the computing field as
well as the many obstacles still standing in the way.
