The Board has been split into three committees: PR, Editorial, and Marketing. We met as a group in Boston for 1 1/2 days where the students interacted with Pearson executives to discuss issues in higher education. Each committee was assigned to a special project and has created a business plan. For example, the Editorial Committee is creating a national website to enable college students to submit photos/artwork to be used on the cover and inside of our books. The Board members are also playing a critical role in shaping new products and revisions of our textbooks. To complete their special assignments, they have traveled to Boston, Denver, NYC, and San Francisco on weekends, and summer and winter breaks. All in all, students have had opportunities to develop their professional skills and to network with other talented students across the country. </span></font></div>
