*Undergrads!  Grad Students!  Faculty!*
*OCWIC is a great opportunity for everyone to shine! Pass it on!*

The deadline for all program proposals is December 15th. Submit online ->
http://cs.hiram.edu/OCWIC/submission.php

~~~~~
Can't think of a topic?  Here are some ideas for you to consider --
(You can submit a proposal as an individual or as a team)
*Discuss careers!*
What led you to your career? What do you do in your job? We need women from
business and industry, as well as academia, to talk about why they chose IT,
their experiences in IT and the opportunities for women in IT. There will be
formal (panels) and informal opportunities to share your experiences with
the students. If you would like to volunteer, send a brief bio, a
description of your current position and a synopsis of what you would like
to share.
*Share internship experiences!*
Have you had a co-op experience? What did you learn on your internship?
Share what you learned with other students. Give feedback to faculty and
business participants about your experience. If you would like to volunteer,
send a brief bio, a description of your internship and a synopsis of what
you would like to share.
*Present a talk!*
Are you doing work or research in an exciting area related to computer
science or information technology? Now is your opportunity to share your
experiences with young women and inspire them. If you would like to be a
speaker, send a one-page description (abstract) of your talk.
*Present a poster!
*Have you worked on an interesting project at school? It's easy to do a
poster . Share your ideas and experiences with others. If you would like to
volunteer, send a one-page description (abstract) of your project or
research.
See you in February!
:-)
