Highlights in this issue, by ACM-W Chair Elaine Weyuker
"In this issue we highlight another of the ACM-W Executive Board
members, Barbara Grosz, who was awarded the ACM/AAAI Allen Newell
Award at this year's ACM Award Banquet. Her interview will give you
some insights into this extraordinary woman and why we are so pleased
to have her working with us.
"One of our goals is to expand our impact internationally. In this
issue, we have reports from three of our International Ambassadors,
and an announcement of a presentation at the upcoming Hopper
conference at which three ACM-W Ambassadors will present information
about international programs that are working to change perceptions
about IT courses and careers.
"There is also a report about a recent ACM-W regional conference, news
about members of one of our student chapters, and news of recent
awards, and much more."
