We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our corporate IT group in
Worthington, Ohio. The Network Administrator should possess 3 + years of
experience proficiently installing, configuring, administering,
monitoring, and supporting systems and services for the company and its
clients using the following technologies: The Network Administrator will
monitor the performance of the network servers and auxiliary network
hardware infrastructure, software, data storage management, network
backup, disaster recovery, and co-location facilities. In addition will
provide network maintenance in staging and production environments.
Other duties include: configuration, installation, and maintenance of
network devices, routers, hubs, switches, modems, and ancillary devices;
monitoring the entire network infrastructure; and optimizing network
performance. Responsible for Network Security, Firewalls, Virtual
Private Networks, network backup and restoration, storage devices,
reporting on network bandwidth usage, disaster recovery, and load
sharing devices. · Windows 2003 Server (with Active Directory) · Server
clustering · SQL Server, Exchange 2003, and IIS · Dell, HP, and Cisco
hardware · Linux · Remote connectivity and remote user management
(Citrix) · Basic familiarity with Cisco infrastructure and IOS, IPSec,
VPN tunnels · Port scanning, vulnerability assessment, network
monitoring, patch management · Veritas Netbackup and tape storage ·
Basic support of Internet apps written in ASP and SQL CULTURALLY: · Must
be capable of working independently and as part of a close knit team ·
Must be able self motivated and able to operate with little supervision
· Should be solutions focused, “outside the box” thinker · Must be
willing to cross train and be cross functional to other areas within IT
· Must be security minded as apps and network security is a high
priority, not an afterthought · Must be very open minded, adaptable, and
willing to be very hands on with customers and employees
